MAFIAD 1 All Day Session: 10am to 6 pm Create a Short Film in One Day (Our Most Popular Course)
We will meet at The Make a Film in a Day classroom in either Fayetteville, Georgia, near Atlanta, or in or near Macon, Georgia. Most shooting is done on location based on the story developed. Georgia has become the center of art and culture known as "Gallywood", since it is Hollywood in Georgia.
We will break into groups depending on attendance and work collaboratively through inception of idea, casting, producing, editing and premiering the film at the end of the day.
We use guerilla shooting methods and resources available in this beautiful city to make Atlanta the backdrop. A the end of the day we screen the film and all participants walk away with a link to their short film complete with IMDB production and/or acting credit (requires signing release prior to participation).

10: 15 – 10:45 AM Intro to Make A Film In A Day – Resource Collection
10:45 - 11:15 AM Pitch & Vote on script(s) (1 min each pitch)
11:15 - 12:15 AM Idea creation, Plan, Storyboard, build shot list
12:15 – 12:30 AM Break
12:30 am - 2:00 Filming
2:00 - 5:30 PM Post-Production - Editing/Rendering
5:30 - 6:00 PM Screening Party (Rough Cut)
